The one thing we do more than any other at this company is move people from one location to another as a local moving company, and it's reflected in the way we do it. Each job includes a complimentary, face-to-face or video walkthrough at which point we will provide you with a quote based on the actual situation, not a guess based on a phone call. On move day, a crew of 2-4 people arrives at your scheduled time and packs furniture and soft goods with padding and blankets, making sure nothing moves during the packing process.
Pricing is straightforward: hourly cost plus (of course) a minimum charge, no extra mileage charge within our normal coverage, and nothing else added to the invoice at the end. The same moving team, with the same insurance, is responsible for either an apartment cross-town move or a longer-distance residential moving job. Most work projects are finished in just one day, and lots of work is done same-day or next day when time is essential.

We prefer two to four weeks notice, but will often accommodate same day and next day requests when we have a crew available.
Stairs and standard elevator buildings are included in your hourly rate. We'll flag anything unusual, like a long carry distance, during your walkthrough.
Tipping is appreciated but never required or built into your quote, it's entirely up to you based on your experience.
Most studios and one-bedrooms need two local movers, while three-plus bedroom homes typically need three or four. We'll recommend a crew size during your free walkthrough.
Yes, many bookings are for a single piece of furniture or a partial load, billed at the same hourly rate with our one-hour minimum.
Plastic wrap, tape, and furniture blankets to protect your items are included standard with every local moving service booking. If your move includes long-term storage and you'd like new furniture blankets instead of our shared ones, those are available to purchase for $10 each.
You're simply billed for the actual hours worked past your estimate at the same rate, there's no penalty fee for running long.
